GoGoGrandparent FAQs

What does GoGoGrandparent cost?

There are four monthly plans to choose from. The cost ranges between $11.72 and $409.99 per month (paid annually), depending on the level of service, plus applicable fees for the concierge service and the payment for the actual service rendered.

No, GoGoGrandparent is not a replacement for an ambulance or medical transportation (emergency and non-emergency). GoGoGrandparent Is Simply A Billing Scam!!! Fail To Show Up Four Times! And though I called in to ask where the car was each time, no car arrived. I have never had a single ride from GoGoGrandparent and for that they charge me $16 per month.

I am preparing to move so I closed my checking account and the had the nerve to call me about their inability to charge my account. I’m older now and my hair is a bit grayer but I still have my redhead temper. I am going to fight this to the end!

I can remember being excited about finding GoGo Grandparents as a concept. Originally their fees were much lower than Uber/Lyth. Of course that all changed with “For Hire”. Now they have extra services and exorbitant fees.

I am disabled and wasn’t feeling too well. I called for Grocery Order Pickup information. I listened for 3-5 minutes, while a young man stumbled thru a word salad about the number of bags, what did I order? (Weight?), Anything large? Bulk? (Paper towels or TP?) Will Kroger put the bags in the trunk? Will we have to bring them to your front door?

I swear that I could hear a calculator noise! And will you need to be picked up and returned home? I decided that this wasn’t a SERVICE, that I could afford. I was estimating my expenses would be around $45.00!!

I ordered a ride from Lyft to Kroger. They bought the groceries out with in minutes and put them in the trunk. I ordered a ride home and paid for the ride of $18.00. Now I have free delivery from Whole Foods, Kroger and Walmart and CVS! (I pay $5 Monthly for unlimited delivery or USPS)

Another ** fee I encountered while on their phone service was: “this is a busy time and there will be a $5. Extra charge- Do you accept this? Do you want to cancel? Press 1 to accept the fee and press 2 to cancel!" Talk about extortion. They have to put your debit/credit cards on their file, as there is no App.

My husband has a folding wheel chair 38 lbs. He originally used just the phone to order his ride, and then he had so many issues with them not coming to pick him up and being late to the VA by 30 minutes. Then they would not pick him up from the VA clinic in Marietta and he had to rely on the goodness of a stranger to bring him all the way home.

He’s gotten a Lyft at the VA hospital on Claremont Road and the VA ordered him a ride and charged us $60. As it was an EMS vehicle. He has been late almost every time he’s used their services period or the car which was ordered by the system doesn’t show up but nobody calls you to tell you you need to call them in order another car. So you sit there or stand there waiting in your clothes is that the car that they were gonna send is not gonna show up at all!!

All these services that they have, I can’t imagine ordering a nurse to come to the house in the reliability of them to execute these services. I’m sure is bizarre. Because ordering a car is very easy but not for go-go.

One morning he ordered a car with the concierge and the same problems were there, what’s the point? What is the monthly fee for? Then there was the time that we ordered a car and they wanted my drivers license and my debit card number and my picture in order to match my face with my drivers license picture. Meanwhile, we had been a customer for years maybe 2/3.

I needed a ride from Newark International Airport to my home when I arrived from a trip to Florida. I have been paying a small monthly fee for their service and felt I could use it. The ride fee was approximately $76, slightly higher than what I paid to get to the airport. It was worth it for me, since the driver arrived within 15 minutes of my call. I will try using them for other local trips in the future.

This service is great in theory but not in practice. They promise the world by offering a number of helpful services, that rarely work without a problem. I’ve been left stranded for previously arranged rides to and from Dr Appts, had drivers clueless when ordered for prescription pickup/delivery. They are basically a middle man calling random Uber or Lyft drivers, which you could do yourself. Fee structure is misrepresented and fees are exorbitant! Their Website is absolutely useless…dreadful. It may be okay somewhere, but in my area GoGoGrandparent stinks! They should be ashamed!

Well one call and you're connected your ride is coming with the same company's I couldn't get through to. Thanks GoGoGrandparent made my ride a lot easier today.

We had a driver, Joe from Korea, that took us to the wrong hotel after a concert. They charged me a sign up fee first. When leaving the concert Joe picked us up and carried us to the wrong motel 6. He said, "We are here." No not the right motel 6. "You have to get out. I have another appointment." I said, "You haven't finished this appointment yet." He kept saying get out. We did get out not knowing where we were. Call their number again. They sent us a new driver. First time ever in Uber for both of us. We are older in age and for him to just drop us out like he did and leave us there. He couldn't understand what we were saying. Very little English he spoke. They charged me for 3 rides plus sign up fee. Never again will I use this group. GOGOGRANDPARENT. IT SUCKS.
