About Jabra Enhance Hearing Aids

Jabra Enhance provides over-the-counter hearing aids. Customers can purchase hearing aids online at lower prices without a prescription, and receive aftercare virtually. The hearing aids are compatible with iPhones, Android devices, and other mobile devices.

Jabra also sells one prescription hearing aid, the Jabra Enhance Pro 30, which is available only at Costco.

Jabra Enhance (formerly Lively) launched in January 2019 to offer advanced-engineered hearing aids that are accessible and affordable. Jabra Enhance is backed by GN, a global leader in the industry with 150 years of hearing expertise. Three models are available at significantly lower costs than most hearing aid companies—you can also pair them with your TV or mobile device for better hearing in tough situations.

In 2023, Jabra updated its Jabra Enhance Select hearing aids to qualify as “over-the-counter” devices (the hearing aid hardware and underlying technology did not change). All Jabra Enhance hearing aids come with three years of virtual services from their audiology team to help you adjust your hearing aids as needed.

Pros

  • Affordable prices on OTC hearing aids
  • Free virtual consultation and ongoing, on-demand support
  • Offers a free online hearing test
  • Aids can be adjusted with a free app for Apple iOS or Android
  • Suitable for mild to moderate hearing loss

Cons

  • No in-person exams or fittings
  • Not suitable for severe or profound hearing loss

Jabra Enhance Hearing Aids Features

Jabra Enhance has three receiver-in-canal (RIC) hearing aid models: Enhance Select 700, Enhance Select 300, and Enhance Select 50R. All of them are intended for adults with mild to moderate hearing loss. Those with severe-to-profound hearing loss should opt for hearing aids with more features. All three models are rechargeable batteries with an all-day battery life. They’re designed to deliver clear, personalized sound in a variety of everyday environments.

Each model offers a different level of sound processing and noise reduction management for conversations in settings like restaurants, group gatherings, and outdoor spaces.

All models include access to remote hearing care from Jabra Enhance audiology professionals, who can adjust your devices based on your hearing needs. Users can also make real-time changes in the Jabra Enhance app, including adjusting volume and switching between listening modes.

As an RIC design, Jabra Enhance hearing aids are small and nearly invisible, but not earbud style. They sit behind the ear with the receiver placed inside the ear canal. They are available in multiple color options designed to blend with different hair tones for a discreet appearance. They carry a 100-day trial period and up to a three-year warranty.

Comparing Jabra Enhance Hearing Aid Models

Jabra Enhance offers four hearing devices with increasing levels of sound processing and noise control.

Enhance Select 700

The Jabra Enhance Select 700 is the newest and most advanced model. It’s designed to deliver clearer speech and better situational awareness, even in noisy environments. This model builds on Jabra’s sound processing technology to help separate speech from background noise, making conversations feel more natural and easier to follow. The Enhance Select 700 is compatible with hands-free calling on iPhones and Androids. It also comes with a charging case you can carry. Like the rest of the lineup, it uses a discreet RIC design and offers full app control and remote adjustments.

Enhance Pro 30

The Jabra Enhance Pro 30 is a prescription hearing aid available exclusively through Costco Hearing Aid Centers. This model is similar to the Enhance Select 700, but customers can receive an in-person hearing test, professional fitting, and ongoing support. This hearing aid is designed for individuals with mild to severe hearing loss and offers more advanced sound processing and customization. But like the rest of the Jabra models, it’s a discreet receiver-in-canal (RIC) design, with a rechargeable battery, Bluetooth streaming, and automatic adjustments for different listening environments.

Enhance Select 300

The Jabra Enhance Select 300 enables natural, effortless listening in all situations. The device enhances sound using two algorithms. It also reduces sudden sounds for greater comfort, such as jangling keys or plates dropping on the floor. The Select 300 is a mini receiver-in-ear hearing aid and is nearly invisible when worn. For this reason, it’s also one of Jabra customers’ top picks. It comes with a charging carry case and can make hands-free iOS calls.

Enhance Select 50R

The Jabra Enhance Select 50R is currently Jabra’s most budget-friendly option. It provides essential sound amplification and speech clarity features for quieter environments and one-on-one conversations. While it doesn’t offer the same level of advanced noise management as the other two models, it still provides rechargeable convenience with a desktop charger, app controls, and access to Jabra Enhance’s remote audiology support. This one is a practical choice for users who want a simple, easy-to-use hearing aid at a lower price point.

Jabra Enhance Hearing Aids Pricing and How to Buy

Jabra Enhance hearing aids cost between $1,195 per pair and $1,995 per pair. This includes a three-year warranty and loss and damage protection. Jabra’s hearing aid pricing is about one-third the cost of most prescription hearing aids. Jabra also offers financing through Bread Pay™, which helps spread your costs into lower monthly payments. Jabra occasionally offers deals. For example, as of writing this review, you get a free TV streamer with the purchase of the Enhance Select 700 model – a $299 value.

Along with a pair of the best hearing aids, you’ll get access to a mobile app and a carrying case.

I could not be more happy with my Lively Hearing aids and the experience of buying from them. I purchased the non-rechargeable with the extended warranty (3 years). The audiologist I met with online (video chat) was very helpful and made sure I got set up right.

This is my first pair of hearing aids so I don't have a wide breadth for comparison but I was amazed at how much better everything sounded. Guess my wife has been right all these years... lol.

PLUS since I bought the extended warranty, I had peace of mind when my puppy chewed up one of the pieces. After they got over their initial laughter they sent me a replacement.

Now (months later) I've just found out that they will also send me ear wax guards FOR FREE which I was totally expecting to pay for!! Free stuffs, always nice! :-) So far, so good....I 100% recommend!!!

I was sold hearing aids from Lively that would assist my hearing AND help mitigate the tinnitus in my ears. I received hearing aids alone. The aids assisted my hearing very well. I had no complaints.

My complaint was, in reality, they have no tinnitus assist at all, even though the feature is a part of their demo app, user guide and sales pitch to people. I returned the aids and got a refund.

I tried a pair of LIVELY Battery Powered hearing aids for close to the 100 days. I wanted to give myself a good amount of time to get used to them and have them tuned in to my hearing issues.

Overall the quality seems real good, size is very good, but unfortunately I could never have them tuned in where they really helped my hearing loss.

The online help was really great but I ended sending them back after I had a hearing test done locally which showed I have some major issues with my right ear. The return process was painless and I was give 100% of my money back.

If your issues is moderate hearing loss I think they would work well for you. The only negative would be you don't have one on one consultation & hearing test. I give them 5 stars for the online help and overall service. My ears I can only give 3 stars, they are the issue.

I have had hearing aids for 4 years. I paid $4100 for my first pair at a local doctor's office. Two years ago my wife got hearing aids at a different doctor's office, also cost $4100. I noticed some additional hearing loss and was not really pleased with my local doctor. I liked the one my wife went to better but I considered trying an online sevice due to be lower cost.

In my search, I found that Lively sells the exact same hearing aid that my wife has but for only $1649. So I decided to give them a try. Super pleased! They have been very professional and the hearing aids are working perfectly. I have had one Zoom meeting with ah audiologist and have a second scheduled. During the first meeting, she made a slight adjustment and gave me a detailed description of what and how my new hearing aids work. I am particularly pleased with the app that allows me to adjust them. Great job at a very reasonable price.

Doctors are great, service is great and the hearing aids are real and programmed to your hearing loss. If they say your audio gram supports the use of the these, buy them. These will give you your life back to you. Amazing phone calls and music streaming. Try them please.

At first, the app was not connecting with the earpieces (apple did an update that messed up the connection). Lively found a workaround and then maybe a month later everything started connecting seamlessly. Without the app, the system is limited. But with it, I am able to participate in group settings (parties) and not have the background noise be a problem. They are so comfortable that I have accidentally worn them in the shower, That freaked me out, but replace the battery and use a light blow-drying action and all was well.

This review is born out of a first swim of the season, yep I forgot to remove them, in fact, they sat at the bottom of the pool for 2 hours before I noticed and retrieved them. I removed the batteries and did a little blow-dry and left them without batteries for 3 days. Yesterday I loaded them and they worked!! This is day 2 after the reload and so far so good. Waterproof??

They advertise 3 day delivery. I was told they would be here Tuesday, No. Wednesday no hearing aids. Thursday no hearing aids. Called and cancelled. If service starts like this it will only get worse. Waiting on response to cancellation.

I quickly read article & it appears Lively is an internet vendor but, here in Manhattan they have a walk-in audiologist. I got an appointment within 24 hrs. After friendly testing I picked up mine in 48 hrs. Doctors & customer service are very helpful and friendly and can be reached by phone, email, internet consultation or text.

Technology allows them to make fine-tuning remote adjustments on your aids almost immediately and they are very thorough on follow-up as well, sometimes sending parts or accessories (overnite) if needed. I went to them because of price $1650/pr but, found there was also a 2 year warranty as well. I have been amazingly satisfied and considering the price of other units think that this is a win/win/win situation.

You get what you pay for! I tried the cheaper ones offered on Facebook, I wasted a lot of money! Then I came across Lively. Yes they cost a little more but what a difference! I’ve had them just over two weeks and I forget I have them in! The quality of hearing is unbelievable. Also their response to any questions has been super and look forward to our next quality control meeting on the 28th. I highly recommend this product!

From the very first contact with Lively I have received outstanding service and results. When I received my hearing aids I was very pleased with them. This is my fourth set of hearing aids (first from your company) I have paid as much as $5800.00 per pair. My Lively hearing are great, easy to control and a joy to wear. Attention after the sale by Lively has been very welcomed.

After my diagnosis of hearing impairment, I searched for price, value, & support as I shopped for my hearing devices. Finding the ListenLively.com page and talking with their support staff, compared their price in comparison to several others "aids", I was comfortable with my final decision to purchase from Lively. Pre-programming, fit, and comfort was nearly spot on.

I preferred a different ear piece which several are included. Every visit online with the audiologist answered any question I had, and if it is warranted can fine tune my devices through my smart phone. Hearing aid technology has changed, Lively helped me understand and ease my mind about what is n amazing enhancement to my hearing health!
