About Bruno Stairlifts

Bruno Independent Living Aids is a third-generation family business located in Wisconsin, dedicated to making lives easier for people with mobility challenges. Their stair lifts and other mobility products are sold, installed, and serviced by factory-trained local dealers.

Bruno Stairlift Models

All Bruno stairlift models feature a chair attached to a rail that is secured on the stairs. When the rocker switch on the chair’s armrest is pushed, the chair lift travels up and down the steps. Bruno straight stairlifts use a vertical anodized aluminum rail. Bruno curved stairlifts feature a custom-made, vertical e-coated steel rail for stability and a precise fit.

For details about how stairlifts work, see our Best Stairlifts Buyer’s Guide.

Bruno stairlifts

Bruno stairlifts are powered by two twelve-volt batteries, allowing the stairlift to operate in a power outage. While in a parked position at the end of the rail, Bruno curved stairlifts are automatically recharging their batteries. Bruno straight stairlift models were the first in the industry to feature charge strips along the entire rail, which enable the unit’s batteries to constantly charge no matter where the unit is parked.

All Bruno stairlift models are equipped with standard safety features, including obstruction sensors that stop the lift if the chair hits an object on the steps and a seat belt to secure the user in place.

Bruno Stairlifts Costs and Warranty

Bruno straight stairlifts have a limited lifetime warranty. Curved and outdoor models come with a comprehensive five-year limited warranty on components and a two-year warranty on parts. However, you may get additional warranty coverage through the authorized Bruno dealer or installer.

The cost of a Bruno stairlift varies depending on the custom configuration and dealer. The price depends on the model, the rail length, upgrades, and state permitting requirements (businesses). Straight stairlifts from Bruno, such as the Elan stair lift, typically start at around $4,000, while custom curved models start at $11,000.

The average labor cost for installation is $70 per hour, and the cost of electrical work is approximately $300. Call your local government office to discuss building permits.

How Bruno Stairlifts are Installed

Bruno dealers are factory-trained to ensure proper installation of your lift. It takes an average of two to three hours to install a straight stairlift. A curved stairlift takes longer to install based on the complexity of the curves and the length of the stairlift rail.

Stairlift installation should always be completed by a licensed professional to prevent damaging your home or the stairlift. Additionally, having a professional handle installation prevents your warranty from being voided.  Bruno works with North America’s largest network of expert local dealers to ensure your lifts are handled by trustworthy and knowledgeable technicians.

Where to Buy Bruno Stairlifts

You can buy Bruno stairlifts from an authorized dealer in your community. Popular vendors include Lifeway Mobility and 101 Mobility. To find an authorized dealer in the United States or Canada, visit Bruno’s website.

If you need to find a Bruno Stairlift dealer outside of North America, there’s a form you can complete and submit on the website. You can also request a free quote on the Bruno website.

Bruno Stairlifts FAQs

Can I install a Bruno stairlift myself?

Only authorized dealers and technicians can install Bruno stairlifts. There are no DIY options available at this time.

Does insurance cover some of the costs for Bruno Stairlifts?

Most health insurance plans don’t cover the full cost of buying and installing stairlifts, and Medicare provides no coverage. See “How to Pay for Aging in Place Home Remodeling” for tips on making a stairlift affordable, and ask your Bruno dealer about financing options.

Can you order Bruno stairlifts online?

New Bruno stairlifts must be purchased and installed by a local authorized Bruno dealer. Most Bruno dealers will not install a stairlift that was not purchased from them, so ordering one online is not recommended. In addition, by using a dealer, a trained specialist can properly measure the steps and determine if any options are needed to customize the stairlift based on the individual user’s capabilities.

Are Bruno stairlifts permanent?

No, because Bruno does not permanently attach the lift to your flight of stairs, you can easily remove the stairlift once it’s no longer needed in your home.

Will Bruno stairlifts work in a power outage?

Bruno models are battery-powered and continually charged via a wall outlet. If the power goes out, the stairlift will pull from the battery power for an additional number of rides.

Which stairlift is better, Acorn or Bruno?

Bruno stairlifts offer a higher weight capacity, a better warranty, and superior customization, making them a prime choice for many homeowners. Acorn stairlifts, however, are more budget-friendly and quicker to install, making them a good option for seniors and homeowners who don’t require extensive customization.

Conclusion

When you’re in the market for mobility equipment, such as a stairlift, it’s essential to choose the highest-quality and safest product possible. Bruno Independent Living Aids has been in business for more than 35 years, stands by its products, manufactures all its lifts in the United States, and carries leading industry certifications for safety. Consumer reviews indicate that Bruno stairlifts are reliable, and the company listens to customers.

It’s bait and switch at its finest, They don’t tell you about the yearly service needed. Your cost of ownership will skyrocket. These lifts take 2 batteries that cost $125 each that have to be replaced every 2 years and it needs track lubrication yearly. There is also a trip charge that they don’t tell you about. I'm spending $550 a year to maintain this piece of equipment that cost me $5800.00. Nonsense Lies.

Our Bruno stairlift works. I'm waiting for some support at the bottom of the stairlift so I can walk around the lower level, and they haven't come yet, but the stairlift itself is fine.

We live in a condo with an unfinished basement, but it's a very long stairway and the Bruno stairlift has been valuable to us. We're very old, in our mid-90s, and we've enjoyed it very much. We feel safe. So far, we're very pleased with it. Everything is neat and clean and it looks great. We use it every time we're up and down the stairs. The installer was most congenial. He was fast and very neat and clean. He went through all the steps with us as to how to run the stairlift and how to use it and fold it. I was very pleased with him. He said that we could get some money back if we declared it a health aid, that our doctor would agree, too. He said that we would get some texts in the sales aspect.

The Bruno salesperson was a joy to work with. He was empathic. He was knowledgeable and informative, and we had a good time together. The installation went perfectly. There was a guy called Terry, and I have never seen a workman work as completely dedicated to doing a great job. And also, he's done this for 19 years. So, there was never a wrong movement. Whenever he put something here, then picked up that, then put it there, and from there to there, there were no extra movements of any kind. He didn't lose anything. He was totally clean. He put paper around where he was drilling to catch the wooden pieces that might fly with a drill. He was terrific. He did not have the long enough kind of copper band for the charging. So, from the beginning, he said, "I'll be back and put that in as soon as I can get it." Apparently, our steps are longer than most. And he did that with efficiency again.

I wish that Bruno did make an improvement on their thing. I think that one has to bend down to lift the foot rest or put it down. That's unfortunate. There should be a way of how you can have a lever or something to do that. Because for people that can't breathe, it's not an easy thing for them to do. Other than that, we've had a very good experience with Bruno.

We're familiar with chairlifts and when we decided to get one here, it seemed that the Bruno seemed to be top quality, if not one of the best alternatives. We stopped at a showroom at a dealer in Salem and spoke with a gentleman there and looked over the chairlift. We already had measurements with us. The next day, he came out because he said, "I'd have to look it over and just double-check the measurements and see how we'd set it up." Two days later, they came and installed it.

We have no problem getting around the chair to use the steps. It takes up not quite half the stairs where the chair is and once you round the chair, there's no problem at all. The track takes up almost no space at all. We love it. We can put a basket full of stuff on our lap and just go down and load the basket up again. We have our freezer and refrigerator and stuff downstairs. It was difficult to keep going up and down. So, we love it. We wish we had done it sooner.

The stairlift is beautiful. My husband uses it and loves it. The bedroom is upstairs and when he was sick, we put the bed downstairs. But when we installed the stairlift, we put the bed in the bedroom upstairs again. He goes on the stairlift all the time to go up to sleep in the bedroom. He is so happy.

Bruno 's sales rep was a young lady. She was very nice. She talked to me good, she worked with me, and she got the work done. The stairlift is fitting very well into our stairwell. I love it. I got the model SRE-3050. It is perfect. You can walk down the side of it and it does not take up a lot of room. It's functioning very well. The speed is not fast. It's a little medium speed, and that's good. Everything is really good. I really like it. It did wonders for my life. I don't have to put pressure on my legs to come up the steps. The Bruno stairlift is very good, nice and compact. It is not too big or clumsy-looking. It has a nice slim fit. And if you have anyone in your house who needs one, it's a good idea that they look into it further and try to see if they can get one. It's perfect for me. My legs feel so much better by me not having to walk up and climb up and down the steps.

We like the test and design of the Bruno stairlift because you go so far up, and then you've got a landing, and then you go so far up so many steps. We like the way that it was a continuous flow. The pricing was very reasonable and better than the other companies that we had checked into, and the people that we dealt with were extremely kind, courteous, and informative about the product.

The Bruno stairlift is wonderful. It's inside and it has a curve. It's very sturdy. It's secure. It's luxurious. I'm very pleased with it. I would recommend Bruno highly. When my mother lived in Eastern Kentucky, she had a chairlift installed and it was just a straight. It came from the basement up to the main floor of the house. It was slow and kind of noisy. With this company that we have now, everything is smooth, and it's quiet.

I had a Bruno, which was a great machine but it didn't work anymore, so I purchased another stairlift. Bruno has nice people, but there are two things about this that I do not care for. First is the remote. You have to stand within five feet, sometimes less, for the remote to operate. Now, in the previous model that I had, you could sit in another room and it would work. I'm very dissatisfied with that. Secondly, this is a curved stairlift. When it drops me off at the bottom, it drops me off about three-quarters of the way, there's a doorway instead of at the bottom completely. I called the company that installed this about a few months ago and they gave me the runaround. I asked them if they could remedy that and they said, "Oh, no, it is what it is."

It's a great stairlift. It fits nicely except what I think happened with the curved stairlift is that they may have installed it too high at the landing. If they moved it for another foot and a half, it'd drop me off right at the doorway. I'm just not 100% satisfied at this particular juncture. Another thing is in previous models, when it comes to the bottom, you get off in the doorway. Here, you don't. You have to move over a bit, which is a little inconvenient. Other than that, the installers were great people.

We got the Bruno stairlift because my husband can't go up and down the steps. He needs assistance and so do I with my arthritis. Bruno was made in the United States and it got good reviews. So, I called them. The sales rep measured, told me what it was going to be, what has to be done, how it's screwed into the stairs, and told me it'll be here in four days, and it was. The people who came were very respectful and very clean, and they didn't make a mess. The stairlift works very well. Having the stairlift made it very easy to go up and down the steps because the arthritis in my joints hurt. It also makes it easy for my husband to go down because he no longer could walk. At least when the ambulance drivers come to take him to the hospital, they put him on the stairlift to bring him down and out into the ambulance.

The rep from Bruno was a nice guy. He did a great job, let me know what was going on, talked to my wife, and he left. I go from a wheelchair to the stairlift, and I run it down or up. It's great. It's made my life better and easier for me. I love the stairlift, but it needs to be in a wider hallway. My son tripped over it.

The Bruno stairlift is broken. I've been trying to get it fixed for a week now. I've called the VA and I've sent them a message and I've tried to call Bruno. I first tried to get through Bruno, but they acted like they didn't know who sent the people out here to fix it. So, I got tired of it. When it was doing all that, I got tired of asking questions, so I just left it alone. I just asked the VA to send me people. First, it was the company that brought it out here and it was a whole mess because they kept coming out here, but they weren't really doing much of anything and it took them three times to install the thing. Then, it is broken. It's not even charging. It won't carry me up the stairs. It's like the weight is too heavy.

The red light blinks and it just keeps stopping as it's going. If you are not sitting on it, it'll move and go like normal speed, but if you're putting weight on it, it won't go anywhere. It'll keep stopping like it can't move. I've been trying to get it fixed and I don't know what's going on. I called all the numbers, and every time I've called them, they gave me the runaround. Either they don't know who to reach out to or they don't know who sent out who. I said, "How could y'all not know that? You don't know who's selling your product?" It doesn't make sense to me. I called them all day one day and they gave me the runaround. I'm very dissatisfied.

I love my Bruno stairlift. I need it and it's very useful going up and down the stairs. It has a good quality and it's easy to use. It's a smaller one for 300 pounds and it fits my stairwell really good. I always had a railing on both sides and they were able to keep that railing in case we had to fold it up in an emergency. It makes it a little tight in turning after I get on top of the steps, but if I move my butt back, I'm all right. I don't have any complaints except, once in a while, when I use my remote downstairs, it stops, but then I realize that at a lower frequency and anything can get in the way like a 4 x 4. I just start it up again. I have had a lot of trouble walking up and down the stairs and I couldn't get along without my Bruno stairlift.

Bruno has a great sales rep. He was very professional and easy to talk and visit with. They said the installation was going to be at least four weeks, but it ended up being about two weeks. The two fellows that came were very professional, too, cleaned up after themselves and stayed until the job was done, and the second ride taken on it. I've called them since because my wife is left-handed, and she has some bone problems in her right hand. So, they're going to come when they get back in this area and switch that over to the left-hand side. The stairlift is excellent. Although it will sometimes stop momentarily, midway up the stairs, I'm sure they can take care of that when they come. Having the stairlift cut down the danger of my wife falling down the stairs, which she had done just right before we had the chairlift installed.

Our experience with Bruno was beautiful. I liked that Bruno is family-owned, it's American, and it's for veterans. That all got bundled together, so that's why we ended up going with them. I compliment the sales guy highly. The installation team put the stairlift in, and left, and everything's worked out fine. The stairlift is perfect. It works really well for my dad. He uses it all the time. It's so convenient because everything lifts up and folds up and other people can get up and down the stairs. It's really good.

The Bruno reps were professional. They knew what they were talking about. My son had to have his stairchair replaced because it was too old and weathered. So, they looked it over. Because of how old it was, it needed to be updated and they didn't think they could get the parts or didn't know if they could, and they thought it would be better if they replaced it. So, that was what happened. The installer came about 9 o'clock in the morning, and he worked straight through. He didn't even take a lunch break. He did great. The stairlift is as good as the last one.

The Bruno stairlift has been very good and helpful. It had gotten to the point where my wife needed something and after doing some reviewing online, Bruno looked like the best unit. Then after looking at our area, the dealer that carry the Bruno was the best dealer in the area for any lifts so we went with him. The sales rep addressed everything and he was very nice, very straightforward, and very accommodating. He wasn't pushy or didn't talk down anybody else's products, was very positive and left the decision to us. He was a very nice, young man. He was very well spoken and very well mannered.

When our home was built, it had extra wide stairways put in to accommodate a lift if you ever had to have one put in. So, the stairlift fits perfectly. The only negative part about it is, it's a long stairway and then it has a bend that goes up one step, and then another bend and it goes up three steps. We went with just a straight one just because of the cost. The cost got so prohibitive to have a custom one built, and plus the lead time. We just went with this for now and if need be, we'll put in another short one up on top for the last three steps.

So far, the quality has been fine. It's quiet. It does everything we want. One of the things we didn't like about it, at first when we called the salespeople and talked to them, and that was when she left it upstairs. My wife had to always turn it, turn it back to the position where when she'd get it off, she turns it at a 90 degrees and it would always beep. So, they came out and made a modification inside there and eliminated that beeping. So, that worked out great.

Overall, if the need is there, the stairlift fits all the need. It's not too complicated to operate. Overall, it's a decent unit. The stairlift helped my wife an awful lot. Plus, it's actually helped me a lot, too, not so much going up the stairs but I was concerned about her coming down the stairs with her hip and stuff with her falling. It takes a lot of pressure for the spouse or the caregiver.

Bruno was really nice to deal with. Keith was very personable and did a really good job. We tried two different solutions and it became apparent that one that they could provide would never pass an inspection. So, we went with a stairlift instead of the elevator thing. Keith was very thorough. The installation team was lovely. They worked the whole time and were very personable as well. They were here about half a day.

The Bruno stairlift is curved. It's perfect. It leaves us lots of room to walk up beside it. It really works well. It fits the stairwell perfectly. Keith did multiple photographs that were fed into a computer. Then the computer would have put it together with the curvature and the rise. So, it was perfectly manufactured. The quality seems fine. Some of the plastic bits are a little loose, but they're plastic. It's adequate for a plastic thing and it's outside, so that's good.

We had a Bruno stairlift installed for my son and that went fine, except we had to do a little electrical work. The guy that had to do that work hurt his foot, so he had to redo some rescheduling on that. Eventually, he got out here and did it, and everything's hunky-dory. It just seemed like a one-horse operation to me. That one person got hurt and it closed the whole thing down for a while. My impression is they're thinly staffed. It took a while to get it in here and it seemed like they ought to have been able to do that in a more efficient manner than they did, but they ultimately got the job done.

The stairlift looks fine. I had a couple concerns. I have a railing that I wanted to maintain because I do use that. There's rug on the stairway, and I wanted to maintain that. They were able to accommodate both those concerns. They just installed it over the rug and far enough away so that I could keep the railing. I used the stairlift once to see if I could make it work, and I was able to. I think my son will do fine with that. That's his part of the whole puzzle of getting him into the house.

I live alone most of the time and I have stairs that I can climb, but my family was worried that it would be too much for me. So, to relieve their minds, I'm using my Bruno chairlift. It fits perfectly in my stairwell. My family can go up and down when they're here. We were surprised that there was a chairlift that would attach to stairs. We thought it had to be to a wall, and that wouldn't work for us. So, we were very happy with this one. It eases the minds of my kids who are scattered around in different cities. I live alone. So, they're very thankful for it. I find that it's rest for me, too. I'm satisfied that I don't have to worry about falling.

The Bruno stairlift is doing good. Bruno sent a representative out, initially, and showed me the merchandise. He said that he had to go back. The VA had to approve it. They sent a guy back out in order to do the measurements for the lift. And about three weeks later, he came out and installed it. The stairlift is exceptional. I'm a big guy and they got 400-pound capacity. I'm not 400 pounds, but it works extremely well. My favorite feature of it is you can let the arms up, you can let the seat up and you can lift the foot pedal. Also, it's got that rotator seat that when you get to the top of the stairs, you can pull up on that lever and you can rotate your body out so you don't have to be getting off on the steps.

The stairlift is life-changing. I don't put so much pressure on my knees going up and down the steps. The customer service is really good because the guy came out explaining everything and gave a demonstration of all the features of it. They were very professional. The stairlift is a good product. I would highly recommend it.

I've been really pleased with Bruno. We looked at different stairlift companies and we liked Bruno's and it was priced right. Their sales guy was very down-to-earth and very honest. You could tell he was a hard worker. Not only did we buy the stairlift, but we went with one of his lift chairs. We knew someone that needed one. We saw one on his display that was exactly what they needed and told them about it and they wanted it. So, we got it for them. It was one of those that uses an electric switch on it and it raises your feet and the back of your chair. I was surprised when I went to this place and they had lifts for vans. I was very impressed with the store.

As far as my stairlift, it's a straight up and down. The gentleman who did the install took two hours. The guy knew what he was doing. Having the stairlift, I can go to the basement now and do my laundry and anything else I need out of the basement.

My Bruno stairlift fits fine. I could have used the thing that turn at both ends. I only have the turn at the top. Other than that, the stairlift was installed in half a day. It wasn't long. I would recommend the contractor. They're the same ones that's getting my electric wheelchair, and also they're going to install the lift on the car. I'm happy with the contractor because the VA tries to take care of us.

Our experience with Bruno was excellent. They did a great job. They were very courteous. We had a little issue. They came back and corrected it with no questions asked. We're very pleased with their service. We also looked at Acorn. We like the design and the style of Bruno than the Acorn. The representative that came was very courteous, very knowledgeable, explained everything to us, and answered any questions we had. We are very pleased with his demeanor and his salesmanship. He invited us to come down to the office and see the setup that they have.

Went down there, we explained to the girl in the office that we were looking at the Bruno and she said, "We have this little sample set up here in our office." She took us over to the showroom, and let us ride the chair a little bit to see how it worked and how comfortable it was. She was very courteous. The installers were great. They came on time and had no problems with the install. They hooked it up. Everything was right. They explained how it operates and everything that we had to do for maintenance on it. It was a great install. I even called the company and told them after they left that we were very pleased with their installer.

The Bruno Elan SRE-3050 straight rail fits in my mom's stairwell perfectly. She has a nice wide staircase. So, it fits great. The installers took her extra hand railing down, but that was only there because she's 88. Now that the chair's there, she doesn't need that other hand rail.

Now that my mom got used to the stairlift, she thinks that it's great. When she gets out, she didn't like the beeping. It made her really nervous. I said, "Mom, it's not gonna blow up. It is not gonna shoot you out. It's just letting you know that it's not connected to the battery that needs to be in it." She's used to it now, so she's good.

I like the looks of the Bruno stairlift, and I'm glad I got it. It's wonderful. It's really heavy-duty. It's helped me so much. I have a bad back. I got really steep steps in the garage, and it helps me tremendously. The Bruno sales rep was really nice. I really liked him. He was really professional and did a good job.

I love Bruno. I was very pleased with the price. The stairlift is a very smooth ride and I've had it about three weeks now. It has excellent quality.

The installer was a very kind young man, was very polite and he explained things very plainly to me. I'd give him an A+.

As far as the stairlift, it has made life a lot easier for me for the stairs. It's less than any pain at all. I don't get any pain when riding up or down.

Bruno is a very good company, and they have good people to work with. They're very honest and very helpful.

We went on the internet and picked out a couple of stairlift companies that were ranked fairly highly. Acorn was the first one we looked at, and then we pursued Bruno. We went over to the dealer in Iowa. They said they had one on the floor that we could try out and we really liked the Bruno best at that particular point. We know it was a little more expensive, but we decided we would purchase that.

The stairlift we got costs about $6,000. We like it very much. We wanted something that looked good and I liked the finish on the metal that goes up the chair rail and everything. I wanted to be sure it looked decent because it's in the entryway of the house. It's the first thing you see when you look inside. So, we looked for the aesthetic part more than anything else.

We had tried out the Acorn and we liked it also. We like the Bruno mainly because of the appearance. On the other one, I didn't really like the look of the metal as it attached. It wasn't in an angle and the chair was about exactly the same.

Our Bruno stairlift feels very secure. I'm the one that has to have it because my walking has become tentative and for safety's sake and to please my three sons. We decided that if we wanted to stay in our house much longer then we'd have to have something. So, we went ahead and decided on the chair. It makes it easier going up and down the stairs.

We got a regular straight Bruno stairlift. The installers showed us everything and we have the book. They gave us two remotes, but we mainly use what's on the chair. I like the stairlift. I thought it would be a piece of junk, but it's not. It's very nice.

My Bruno stairlift is great. It looked like it was the best equipment for the price. I'm 89 and I have 27 steps to get up to my apartment. I can still walk up the steps, but the stairlift gives me comfort on that day when I can't. It's been a very pleasant experience doing business with them.

I got a new Bruno stairlift to replace the other one I had. The installer was very efficient. He knew what he was doing and went right to work. I'm satisfied with the quality of the new stairlift. Also, I now have a little more room than with what I had before. This is wider. I would recommend Bruno.

I bought the Bruno chairlift to replace the one I had that died. We picked Bruno because they had the Elite model, which would handle a higher weight load. The Elite's chair rail goes vertically instead of horizontally. So, it takes up less space on my staircase, which is a good thing.

It has a better seat and it also will handle up to 400 pounds while the other one was 270. So far, I like the stairlift. It's much faster and it seems to be well-made.

The technician that was here and the owners that came and did the measuring were all fabulous. I would highly recommend them as a branch.

The Bruno stairlift is very good. It's really nice. I very much appreciated it. It's made it so much nicer for my mother. We're very happy with it.

The guy who installed the stairlift was very good. He was very knowledgeable. He was done in no time. He showed me how it works. He was very friendly and cleaned up the home.

The Bruno reps were wonderful. After they put the stairlift in, they showed us everything so we wouldn't be surprised by anything. I like the Bruno the stairlift better than the Acorn. It performs perfectly. It's very sturdy. It sets upright. It takes less room, and it is so efficient.

I'm very pleased with everything it does. I like that the up or down is one handle instead of two. I enjoy the stairlift immensely. I'm 87. I was not allowed to go to the basement, and I always had to have kids go down and get what I needed. Now, I go down and get my own stuff.

The Bruno stairlift is really nice. I'm so glad that I was afforded the opportunity to get a new stairlift. It's quiet and you don't even know it's in use until it gets to the top or the bottom of the staircase when you hear the little beep. It's stable and durable. I like it.

Every time the Bruno stairlift would stop, I felt like my back was gonna come off of me. It hits with a thud at the end. It was terrible. We just had someone out here today because it felt like I was running into a Mack truck at the end of it when it was soft at the bottom. I couldn't stand that.

They came really fast. I couldn't see them before today. I called them last week and they came today when I can see them. They put something else on it to slow it down at the bottom. They had found a lot of people didn't like that on there, so they didn't put it on.

This Bruno stairlift is a replacement for the one I had before. The one I had before always was extremely smooth at the top and smooth at the bottom when I would stop.

I just wasn't used to the Bruno. So, I thought, "Oh, my goodness," but it did very well and the young man who came today got it fixed. He was extremely nice. I would recommend Bruno to a friend. I'd just tell them to get that thing on the bottom of it.

The sales rep from Bruno was very knowledgeable and took care of business. The installer was very good. The stairlift is very good, too. I can go up and down the stairs now. I'm 82 and it's getting a little hard.

The Bruno sales rep was excellent and very helpful. As the Bruno stairlift is moving, nobody can go up or down with it. It takes up quite a bit of space, but there's still room enough for me to sit on it and go up and down the stairs. It makes a lot of noise going up and down. It clicks and rumbles and bangs, and it tends to lean as I sit in it.

My wife is very grateful for the stairlift. She uses it because it's in the way and it saves time. Other than that, she appreciates it very much. It allows me the opportunity to go downstairs more and she's not so concerned because of my knees and falling.

So far, my Bruno stairlift worked great. It allows me to go upstairs that I probably wouldn't ever go if I didn't have it. It makes my normal living better.

Three years ago, I bought one that goes upstairs to the second level. This one is for the garage. Everything's fine except the price had gone up quite a bit in three years. Other than that, the quality is good, so I was happy to be a repeat buyer.

Ashley and her partner came out to install the Bruno stairlift, and they made sure all the measurements were right. It was pretty quick. They did a really good job.

The one thing we had to do before they came was make sure that we had an outlet that was close enough to the stairs so that we could plug it in. That was part of the whole thing. It was easier when they did the training.

The training didn't take too long. It was fairly easy. They had my dad go up and down the stairs. They showed him how to get on the stairlift. You had to put the seat down and we put the arms down. They told us that he could put weight on the arms, but not on the little footrest. My dad likes the stairlift. It made it accessible to the second story of our home.

From start to finish, the Bruno rep explained everything and did everything. There were no questions after the first visit. At the installation, it was the same thing. They came in and did all the walkthroughs on using the stair lift. So, it was perfect. The stairlift is excellent.

The Bruno sales rep who came to our home was very good. They took pictures and got the information very quickly to build the stairlift precisely to fit, and it did fit. All of that is excellent. The problem is that the remote does not work.

The company, Mobility Concepts, is working on it but I'm concerned that they won't get it fixed before the 90-day guarantee expires.

We don't need the stairlift, but we're trying it. The company said to use it in order that you know that it works before the 90-day guarantee runs out. So, I've been up and down it half a dozen times. It was installed about a month ago.

It's much slower than my walking so I don't use it often but so far, it's worked flawlessly except for the remote not working always. I've not used the remote as much as my wife has tried just to test. At least one of the four possibilities doesn't work well. It stops part of the way up and you have to start the thing again.

Overall, I've been very satisfied. A very positive for Bruno is that I have an older brother who had to put one in for his wife. He's a mechanical engineer, and he has been so thrilled and satisfied with the device that he strongly recommended it to me.

The Bruno stairlifts looked like good ones and there was a local provider. So, it was convenient. I went down there and told them what I was looking for. They showed me one and demonstrated it and we set up a time to have it installed.

They were very knowledgeable and they worked with them all the time, so they're really familiar with how to do it. The installation went great. The guys came out when they said and didn't take them long at all to set it up and they demonstrated it.

The stairlift works great. It gives my wife more independence. She can use a walker and go down the hall and get on it and go down to the next level and she's got another walker down there. It gives her a lot more freedom.

Overall, the stairlift was as Bruno said. Everything was as described and prompt and quickly installed. I'm happy with it.

Bruno came out and took measurements and some pictures, and told me the VA had sent them out. The installers were courteous and they were clean, neat, and didn't have stuff all over the place.

They told me how the chair works, showed me how to operate it, and they made sure everything was in working order before they left. They also gave me a book.

It was a good experience. They respected my home. We had a good conversation. They explained what they were doing. I just wish the chair went a little faster, but I like its comfort. It's helped me a lot.
