Bruno Review

I went through the local dealer to get the Bruno stairlift. Everything was great. Dave was on top of his game. Any questions I had were answered immediately.

The installers came in and had everything. We had to make mounts and everything different for our stuff because we have slate steps, and they were in and out in just a little over half a day. So far, I'm pleased with the stairlift.

The Bruno stairlift has been very helpful. I like the overall look and the quality of it. Also, the installer was professional and friendly.

Bruno's salesperson, Connor, was very informative and nice. We got an inside stairlift. Anyone who has come in here didn't think it was out of place, and it's blended with our wall. It seems to be of good quality. It's sturdy.

We're in our 80s and we want to stay here. It definitely is a benefit. We realized that Christmas time bringing Christmas decorations and tree up and down the stairs was getting too much for us. So, at that time, we realized we were gonna have to do something.

We got a Bruno stairlift, and it was installed by a company here in town, Frontier Mobility Access. We barely had it for a week when it stopped working. They had to replace one of the parts. That was done last week.

We've only really had it in the house for maybe three weeks, and out of those three weeks, we have been able to use it less than a week because we had to wait for the new part to come in.

We got a curved stairlift. It's huge. It's a good thing we have wide stairs. It's huge. The track for it is enormous, but my husband needs it desperately, so it is what it is. When the rep came to do all the measurements, I knew what it was going to look like but I wasn't expecting it to be as big as it is.

The stairlift has excellent quality. It's a beautiful piece. It's very sturdy. My husband is six feet tall. He's a big guy and he's very comfortable using it. We're very pleased to have it because he needs it.

We were lucky enough to be able to get it. Anybody who went in to look at it was impressed with it. There's no reason not to recommend it.

I was happy with Bruno. They got good communication. The installers did a good job. They stayed busy the whole time. They were fast and accurate. They showed me how to turn the stairlift on and they gave me two remote boxes. The stairlift is outside the home. I like it. It's safe enough for me.

The installer did the demonstration. I was able to ask questions when it was all finished. The installation was pretty fast. I was surprised. The man was very courteous, and everything went fine. He cleaned up and showed me how to work it. It was fantastic.

Bruno did a fantastic job, and they're no pricier than any other place. It was a reasonable price. I would recommend them.

There are a couple of things that I don't like about my Bruno stairlift. One is the button that you need to get up and down the steps is flimsy. It had already flown off and they had to come back and put a new one on.

We could not find it. We tore our house apart and we're like, "We have no idea where it went." It was like it disappeared when it flew off.

The other thing is it really only goes to the second of the top step. It doesn't go to the landing. So, you have to swivel the chair to get off, and it makes me a little bit nervous.

If it just would have gone up one more step, I could have walked right off of the top of it and not have been up here. I wouldn't have to swivel. All they had to do was make the landing part and it would have been better for me.

Other than that, it has changed my life. I absolutely love it. I was starting to stay upstairs if my husband or my daughter was not home because I was afraid either I would fall on the stairs or I would be down there. If I had to go to the bathroom, I wouldn't be able to make it up. So, it changed my life as far as I'm like, "Oh, I got my chair." It has improved my life so much.

I'm very happy with my Bruno stairlift. It's working well. It serves its function. The installation went smooth as silk. The guy knew what he was doing. Also, the sales rep was really good to me.

The Bruno representatives were fantastic. They came in, took the measurements, and took them back to the VA and the VA had to approve them all. They ordered it, but they needed more measurements. So, they come back and measured it again.

The installers were really nice people. Everything was back to the way it was before. They've done a really good and clean job. They cleaned up after themselves. They had me get on it and showed me how to operate it and I took it down and up. Bruno has been a lifesaver for me. The stairs and I didn't get along too well.

My husband is loving the Bruno stairlift. He can always put stuff on there and sends it down the steps. It makes life easy for him. If we have to take something down to stairs, I can just set it in there and send it down to him, and then he can send it back. It's a lot better for him because he's got a bad back and he had one of his knees replaced.

I was surprised about the installation because the rep came to show us the stuff. He said, "I'll be back in an hour." They came back and they were only here probably an hour putting it in. So, I was very impressed.

I purchased a Bruno stairlift for my roommate who unfortunately has been in the hospital. Now she's in rehab because she's got all kinds of issues, but I've been practicing on it for her and I love it. I just wish there was some kind of a senior discount I could have gotten because the thing cost me $7,000.

The sales reps from Bruno were awesome. If I had to do it again, in a heartbeat, I'd go with them. He really did a good presentation, a good demonstration, and a good follow-up. The installers were awesome, and they were two women.

The stairlift has great quality. I like it a lot. It couldn't be better. I'd done a lot of research before I ended up getting Bruno. I ended up deciding on Bruno based on everything else I've looked at and hearing some horror stories here and there.

We needed a sturdier unit for my roommate and Bruno is great for her. I also had a whole bunch of stuff I had to haul upstairs. I just stuck it on it and let it go upstairs. So, it's a great dumbwaiter, too.

My grandfather moved into my home. My home is a three-level house and his living station is in the basement and the main floor and the kitchen. So, we installed the Bruno stair chair so that he can easily come and join meals with the family and get to the kitchen area.

The Bruno team came in the first time and measured and determined if we could install one. They were gracious, lovely, and very kind. So, we came up with a program that would work for our arrangement.

They had to file for a permit. So, they called to let me know that they had filed for the permit and that it takes about two weeks, and they were pretty much right on. Then they sent out their install crew, and they installed it. They were great in the home and they were easy to work with.

After they installed it, they had us run through the whole system and how it worked and made it really clear how to use it safely. So, that was good, too.

I was initially a little worried that we wouldn't be able to walk down because the stairlift would take up the whole station, but it folds up really nicely and sits at the base of the stairs. So, it works great.

My favorite feature is how happy it makes my grandpa but I like that you can shift the way that the chair sits for loading and unloading. That feature is really helpful.

The overall quality seems great. It seems like it's gonna hold up really nicely. It's easy to clean, which is nice. They also installed it on the stairs, so it didn't damage any of the walls. The cost is pretty fair. For the quality of life, it's definitely worth it.

My husband looked at the reviews, the details of the coverage and all the specifications, and he decided on Bruno. Two young women came by for the installation. They were well-trained, very customer-oriented, very disciplined and they got the job done in a couple of hours.

They took all the care to show us how to operate the stairlift, and what to look for and they left a number to call back in case we had further questions. So all in all, it was a hassle-free experience and very user-friendly.

As far as the quality of the stairlift, we have not used any other stairlift ourselves and we don't have any concerns so far. We have wide steps and this fits in very well without hindering others going up and down and is very easy to use.

With the Bruno stairlift, we like its assurance of risk management. It's a comfort. It helps any elderly folk in the house to go up and down at ease. So, it's an enlightening effect.

We used the Bruno stairlift and it seemed to work great. We didn't have any long-term use for it, but it seemed to be very stable.

We had two people use it that have a hard time lifting their legs. So, that panel where you put your feet could have been lower or adjustable because the two people that did use it had a little bit of a hard time lifting their feet onto it. Other than that, the ride is a little quicker than I had imagined but it was fine.

Our Bruno stairlift has been great. The people who installed it were very informative and knew what they were doing and they had it in in two days. The stailift is really comfortable. It's a really good product. It's made very nicely and works really well and it's been a big help. You can use your upstairs and your bedroom.

The whole thing with Bruno was excellent. The stairlift is perfect. It's a seat on a rail going on my stairs. It's very simple. It was not a rip-off.

I love my experience with Bruno. It makes me more flexible. Before, I just pretty much stopped here but once I got that, I could go to different places. I get to go to the mall and show my kids around. I have some more freedom to enjoy.

Bruno's customer service representatives have been great. They did everything as they said. They were there on time and they did everything according to the plan. So far, the product quality is great. The only thing is they told me to not run it through the car washes.

Bruno did it better than just giving a demonstration. If you watch someone do something, it doesn't fit in as well as if you do it yourself. So, I got in the chair and went up. In addition to the demonstration, one of them did give some very good information about its use.

The Bruno stairlift seems to be working well. The remote control was messed up a couple of times, but the mechanism seems to work great. I'm glad that it's American-made, and we're happy with it.

The guy that did it was great. I had called a dealer in Elkins, West Virginia and they were like, "Well, yeah, we could send someone down to assess. And then, we could order you one. And in four or five weeks, we get it in and we'd arrange to install it."

The guy from Roanoke asked me if it was a straight one, and I said, "Yeah." He asked me about the ceiling height and length of the steps and he said, "I've got one ready to go. I'll be there in two days to put it in." He was super.

The people up in Castleton that we dealt with were so helpful, and we decided that we wanted to have them install our chairlift. We love our Bruno stairlift. We use it all the time, and we've shown it to all of our friends and we couldn't be more pleased.

The quality of our Bruno stairlift is really good. My husband couldn't get in the basement. That's where his little shop is at. He wouldn't even be able to go to the shop where he stays every day, so we could not make it without the stairlift.

I purchased a Bruno stairlift because I have rheumatoid arthritis. I drive in my garage and then I have to walk up the stairs and my whole house is upstairs.

Bruno's rep was very nice and very helpful, and their techs were very good. I love my stairlift. It was the best thing ever. It's pricey, but it has helped me so much that I'm great with it.

The installer came in 10:15, worked all day and couldn’t get it right. He wanted to go back and get a different unit after all day. Said the rail was bad. His boss told him he couldn’t. The salesman said he had permission to come back.

As we waited for a while for them and made doctors appointments according to their availability. Now we are inconvenienced and they won’t come back for days. A bunch of dishonorable liars. A shame that I can’t give them less than 1 star.

The Bruno representatives were wonderful. They were very efficient and got the job done. I especially appreciated how courteous they were.

The stairlift is wonderful. I can get downstairs and do my own laundry now. I can get to my drafting table and work on my art. I can get to my sewing table. It's all downstairs, and I can get to it all.

The Bruno stairlift increases my mobility. I ride up and down on it. It's made a big difference.

The Bruno sales rep was great. He told me how much it was gonna be. The installers were right here when they said they were gonna be here. They did the job.

My wife and I were both here and we kinda got back out of the way and offered to have them carry stuff in. He said, ''It's lightweight. It's aluminum.'' He didn't really need help. So, I just stepped back and let him go in. He was done in about an hour and a half. Everything's fine. I was definitely satisfied.

I went with Bruno for two things, the price and the installation person who came out. We had several conversations. He was very knowledgeable and understood what was going on.

I'm very happy with the stairlift. It seems to be good quality. I haven't had any real issues with it. My wife can now go upstairs, go to bed, and also take a shower and go to the bathroom upstairs. She could operate it on her own without a problem.

I just got a Bruno stairlift that was a replacement from one that was like 20 years old, and I don't like the new one as well. The seat feels cheaper. It's not as comfortable or padded.

You don't need much for going up and down the stairs but what I really do not like is the lever that you push down to swivel the seat to get out at the top of the stairs. It is too low. I've had two back surgeries and I'm not supposed to do a lot of bending.

The bad part is that at the top of the stairs, I really should swivel it to get out safely and sometimes, I have been putting the left arm up and not using the swivel part. Other than that, it's a lot quieter than the first one.

The Bruno rep was very effective. However, there are a couple of really black, looked like grease spots at the top of my stairs on the carpeting. The carpet is 50 years old, so it's no great problem except they're there.

Also, he left a little tube of lubrication stuff, but he didn't tell me anything about using it. I did read all the brochures and the little booklet and it said you should use it once a month. I have never used that on the previous one I had.

The technician was very good. I had trouble with a battery this summer, and he brought a new battery and put it in. It worked for about a month or two. Then, the thing died and they said it was too old to get any parts for.

Our Bruno stairlift has made it possible for me to go up and down stairs. It's good. My husband is very pleased with it, too.

My Bruno stairlift is unusually good. It operates exactly how I was told it would. It's easy for me to get in and out of the house now. The stairlift has given me the ability to do something I am unable to do.

I've told other people that it's very good. I've told all my family and anybody that sees it. My caregivers come in every day. They know how handy it is.

The techs who installed my Bruno stairlift were awesome. Ronnie and Jasper do a great job. I've been dealing with Ronnie for over 20 years. He's very knowledgeable about any Bruno product that Bruno supplies them with. I got my Bruno stairlift from Frontier Access and they did a great job, too.

I love my Bruno stairlift. I wish I had done it months ago. I was having so much trouble getting up the steps and right now, there is no way I could do steps. So, I'm so tickled that I listened to my daughter and had that thing installed. It has saved me a lot of pain.

I got a straight stairlift and it fits great in the stairwell. The guy that installed it was wonderful. He showed me everything I needed to know. I'm so pleased with Bruno.

The Bruno rep answered all of my questions, explained how to use it, and also talked about what he was doing. He explained the process. He was a nice young man. The installers introduced themselves and they gave us the information and told us what they were going to do.

The stairlift's quality is excellent. It fits perfectly. You don't only have two remotes, you have a third way of working the chairlift even if the remotes don't have the batteries for them. You push the button with the handle and it'll take you up.

My Bruno stairlift is very good. I'm glad. I should have done it before. It's great to have this stair chair because of my health. The installer was very nice and showed us how to use it. I was very happy with him.

I'm not exactly happy with the Bruno stairlift. The other one we had was easy to turn, and this one, you really have to push. Also, it makes a lot of noise. As a matter of fact, I was gonna call Bruno to find out if that is usual with it.

I wish that it would be standard where you need to put the holes in your stairs like in all companies because now, I have a set of empty holes that have to be tended to because this is our second chairlift.

Another thing is they need to extend where you put your feet a little bit longer. You really have to put your feet back. It can make it a little difficult when you are trying to turn the machine around so you could go down.

It is annoying that you have to click it all the way back and then click it again to be able to get it to move. There are a few features that could be corrected.

We had another brand before that was more people-friendly as far as the foot. Overall, I'm not very dissatisfied with Bruno, but I'm not completely satisfied.

Bruno's sales rep was professional. I was pleased. I like my Bruno stairlift. I tried to use the stairs going down, but the stairlift definitely helps to get two floors.

The installation team did a good job putting my Bruno stairlift in. I got a straight one and it fits pretty good in my home. It seems to be good as far as I can tell.

Bruno did great. I told the person that put the product in that what I wanted is something that was gonna last for the life of my mother and that was what he recommended. The installation was really good. I left and they had it in when I got back, which was absolutely wonderful.

The Bruno team was very friendly and very diligent in getting the work done. So far, the stairlift is good. I'm a design engineer so I think it can be improved but I like it. It works well for us and I have no complaints so far.

My mother's bedroom is upstairs. The bathroom and shower are upstairs. She's currently in a wheelchair and now, she's using the stairlift to come upstairs.

We were waiting for about a month for the product to get here because of the supply chain issue. I'm a designer and I know how bad it is out there. I had problems with companies providing the parts, and they're having problems getting the parts they need to fix my parts. It's kind of double jeopardy. So based on the supply chain, Bruno delivered on what they promised.

We're happy with the stairlift. The only thing that I would add that the designer may look into is to adjust the seat up and down based on their height because right now, it is on one level, but maybe they can adjust the seat to go up and down. They have to add more components or more buttons to adjust up and down.

My Bruno stairlift is convenient. It's awesome. It's nice to have. I love the quality and style. The installation went pretty smoothly. After they installed it, the installers showed me how to work it. They were in and out.

We had some problems with our Bruno stairlift. They were here three times to correct the problem. The problem is they installed one on my lower stairways and they had to take it out because I couldn't get off the thing. There was a railing in the way.

When they did the original consultation and measurement, they didn't realize that the post had to be taken out of the railing. So, they took that one out, and they sent it up to the second floor and installed it up there.

I had to get a wrought iron guy. He had to come in. We needed $550 to get the railing taken out and cut and welded and put back on.

Then on the one that they installed on the second unit, there were a couple of problems with the seat. It was very high and the footplate and the seat had to be lowered because I was about to hit my head on the bulkhead going up the door going up the stairway.

Originally, it was very noisy. They had to come and adjust the gearing mechanism in it. Then they had to come back again to lower the seat.

Two guys came out to do the installation and two guys came out to do the first repair. The one that came last week was a young guy and he was very good, thoughtful and professional. He did the right thing, and he didn't leave until I was satisfied.

Jonathan, the rep from Bruno, explained everything and I gave him a shot. I'm thinking about getting his second unit put in and see if it'll suffice for the lowest stairways where I've had all the problems.

I wanted the Elite model, but it's way too much money. He wouldn't come down on the price. So, we're looking into the Elan stairlift, which is the cheaper version. It has a 300-pound weight limit. I weigh 282.

The Elite was a 250-pound stairlift, but it was almost $1,500 more. It would take up much more space because I have a narrow stairway going down to 13 steps.

The Bruno stairlift is a little pricey, but if it keeps us from falling, it's worth it.

My father had weakness in his legs, so we were looking for a place nearby to get a stairlift, and Bruno came up in Clifton Park. The sales rep who came out was very kind and took measurements and told us what the best product was to purchase for the situation that we have.

We got a two-system because my dad lives on a raised ranch. So, we have to have two chairs. One goes down the top stairs to a landing, and then he has to transfer to another chair to do the bottom stairs.

The stairlift helps a lot. He couldn't get down the stairs. Now, he can get outside. The quality is very good, too.

Bruno was the closest place to where we live, and I talked to those people and they've been in business a long time. It took a couple of weeks longer to get the unit shipped from Wisconsin, but other than that, everything went well with the installation. I'd recommend Bruno. It works great.

My parents love their Bruno stairlift. It goes from their main level up to the second level where the bedrooms are. The day after my parents got it, they were having a little trouble with their remote control. They called the company that installed it, Fitzpatrick, and the guy came right out. He knew what the problem was and fixed it.

The Bruno sales rep explained everything to us. We got the product with a chair that goes down and then goes up. It fits okay in our stairwell. I'm satisfied with the times that I've used it. I'm happy with it.

The person who installed our Bruno stairlift did it quite quickly, and it's nice. We have no problem with it. It's working good. It's fast enough, and it's slow enough. I wish we could have afforded the whole thing with the curve in it, but we just couldn't. 15 was a lot of money.

The Bruno stairlift works fine. It's very helpful. My back collapsed, and so I was having trouble getting up and down the stairs, and it's been really nice. The installers were very good. They fixed the chair, and then they had to come and make some adjustments. There was another part that they brought.
