Goldco Review

I’ve had two transactions with Goldco. I transferred part of my Traditional IRA to a Precious Metals IRA both in Jan and April 2024, both times, I was happy with the service, promptness and educational aspect of both transactions. I would definitely recommend Goldco for purchasing a Precious Metal IRA.

I heard about this company when my sister shared a video about buying precious metals. I decided to investigate and liked what I read. Once the funds from my other accounts were transferred my Account Executive called and discussed my options. It was very easy and quick. They are very informative and I feel very secure in investing in precious metals. I would highly recommend Goldco!

The staff as GoldCo was very patient, professional, and answered all of my questions. I had a lot and was able to verify all of their information and feel like their prices are competitive or better. I will also be converting an IRA in the future since our cash transaction was so successful.

GOLDCO was very cooperative with a transfer of my IRA from a coin account to a BAR metal account. Although there was an initial misunderstanding of the type of product placed into my account, they bought back the material at a very fair price, and I have now converted my IRA into the bulk metal that I wanted INGOTS. The holding group Equity initially placed my value of my holdings at purchase price ($100K with a 10K bonus) at $50 K due to only the weight of the metals held in the vault. I was told by GOLDCO that the value was greater than the stated value in the vault.

After some negotiations GOLDCO offered to buy back the coins and cash out the value, which matched the initial investment. I was able to convert the metals to BULK gold and silver bars as was my intent with only a 5% surcharge, reasonable I thought. So, GOLDCO took a potential tragic situation and resolved the matter to my satisfaction. Go GOLDCO, They are upfront and should be trusted, especially with your IRA’s.

Arthur from GoldCo was very helpful in rolling over my TSP to a Gold IRA. GoldCo went through the process with me step by step to make everything as easy as possible. The service was great and I would highly recommend GoldCo as a company for converting to a Gold IRA!

They are the pros at facilitating a rollover from a stock market based 401k into a precious metals IRA. My last rollover took only 14 minutes on a thee-way call. I already had an account so things were pretty streamlined. My advice for first timers is to get it straight in your head how you feel about basic bullion vs premium metals. Understand the pros and cons of each investment. Goldco will go with whatever you decide.

I’m 64 and single. Decide to purchase precious metals for the first time as a hedge against inflation. Goldco was great through every step of the process. Encouraged me to ask questions if there was anything I didn’t understand. Great and friendly people, easy to understand.

I think you are both nice people. From the onset of my first phone call I inquired about the authenticity of the free silver offer. I follow Richie from Boston, and heard good things about your company from him. I was assured by you, that if I spent $50,000.00 I would receive $2,500.00. I discussed buying Gold coins and then the conversation about buying bullions in 3 different increments came up. I was told I could purchase 1/4 ounce,1/2 ounce and 1 ounce gold coins, which I was now interested in buying. The following day my money arrived at Goldco, and now I was told I had one option only, for the free silver, purchasing 1/4 ounce pieces. I feel this was disingenuous. I felt like I was now forced into a corner, because my money was now at Goldco. I felt duped more than once, and would like some satisfaction. (I deleted their names for their privacy.)

My agent was clear, concise, knowledgeable & easy to talk to. The only minor issue was some difficulty getting in touch with him, which was understandable with all the current activity in the gold market. Ryan answered all my questions & I learned a lot from talking with him…

I transferred two IRAs to GoldCo. The first one, my rep was attentive until he got my money transferred and then I he wouldn’t return phone calls, texts or emails when I wanted to transfer my 2nd IRA. I finally got a hold of a different rep 3 months later and transferred my Roth IRA. He committed to stay in contact through the whole process. I told him I needed to move my funds to the Texas vault location and change the beneficiary to my estate. He assured me he would help me with the process.

As soon as my Roth IRA funds were transferred, I never heard from him again although I emailed, texted and left voicemails. I was finally able to get a hold of customer service who emailed me some forms to fill out. Since I didn’t have guidance, I got another email saying I needed to fill out my beneficiary forms differently. GoldCo will consistently GHOST YOU after they get your money. Also, my account “values” shows a fraction of what I contributed and I can’t get anyone to explain it to me.

Everyone that I spoke with was great. They all helped me make a good decision on investing my money. They would take the time to answer all my questions and explain everything in detail and in a way that I could understand.
